Credit Dispute Letter
Write a dispute letter to fix inaccurate credit report items
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), you have the right to dispute inaccurate information on your credit report with each of the three bureaus — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. Describe what's wrong, why, and what correction you want. The bureau must investigate within 30 days. Download as a PDF (one letter per bureau) or email it to yourself to print and mail.
