ReadyOwn Pathway is an educational program designed to help prospective homebuyers understand the homebuying process. It is not a substitute for professional financial or legal advice. You should consult with qualified professionals before making housing or financial decisions.
All calculators, affordability estimates, Down Payment Assistance (DPA) stacking worksheets, and the loan comparison worksheet are provided for learning and planning purposes only. They do not constitute a loan approval, pre-qualification, or commitment to lend, and DPA program eligibility and stacking must be confirmed by your lender or housing counselor. Interest rates shown are pulled from FRED's OBMMI indices and may differ from the rates a lender offers you.

Certificates of completion are issued upon completion of all course modules and achievement of an 80% or higher score on the final assessment. Your certificate confirms completion of HUD-compliant homebuyer education as aligned with National Industry Standards.
Certificates are personal to you and may not be transferred, forged, or duplicated. Fraudulent use of certificates may result in legal action. Downloading your certificate may require purchase or redemption of a valid coupon code; coupon codes are non-transferable and may expire.
ReadyOwn Pathway is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
All content, materials, designs, and intellectual property in ReadyOwn Pathway are the property of the Homeownership Council of America or its licensors. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

ReadyOwn Pathway is committed to fair housing principles. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, familial status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. All users are welcome and will be treated with equal respect.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from modifications or discontinuation.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
You may choose to send your profile information to a HUD-approved housing counseling organization and/or a lender you select. This sharing is initiated by you and occurs only when you explicitly select or authorize it. ReadyOwn will not share your profile with any HUD-approved organization or lender without your explicit consent.
ReadyOwn collects usage metadata about how you use the app and its components (such as pages visited, tools and calculators used, and features engaged with). This usage data may be shared with the Homeownership Council of America (HCA) centrally, in aggregated and/or de-identified form, for program administration and reporting through our Admin portal. By using the app, you consent to this metadata collection and central reporting.
